We stock only the best proven products to use to service all of the lawn mowers and lawn equipment that we work on. We keep a large variety of air filters, spark plugs, oil filters for as many different applications as we can. We also keep flywheel keys for Tecumseh and Briggs. We also carry many of the diaphragms used in the fuel pumps and the older carburetors. We have the fuel pumps for the Riders end gasket sets for the Nikki carburetor. We also keep a variety of primer bulbs for Tecumseh and Briggs. We keep the call pulleys that they use on the Husqvarna 4 wheel drive walk behind mowers. We also have a few Magneto’s that fit the Briggs. We normally keep some of the spindle assemblies that would fit the MTD or the Husqvarna. We have a few of the most popular Blade belts four Riders. We also carry a large selection of blades for our most popular walk behind mowers and riding mowers, also some of the zero-turn mowers. Keeping these parts in stock is helpful in reducing your turnaround time. Pull handles, pull ropes, some gas caps primarily for the walk behind mowers. We Carry a high-quality pull rope that lasts very well.

Through the years, we have found it best to select only the best products from various companies, or to cherry-pick some products from each company in order to get highest quality products for every application. At Ed’s you can rest assured we will only repair your mower with the best parts. Some of the products that were not up to our standards, we found a different company that has better quality products to replace the parts that don’t meet our high standards. We kept looking until we found a product that held up well, meaning that we have actually tested all the products that we sell. Our customers bring their lawn equipment to us, so we can save them time, because not only do we know what we are doing, we are fast with our repairs. We use these top of the line parts to repair the lawn mowers we get in on a regular normal daily basis.

We do the service work on walk-behind mowers, riders and zero turns. That’s normally changing the oil, sharpening the blade, installing a new spark plug, a new air filter and greasing the mower. Whatever the problem, we will fix it. There isn’t a residential mower that we can’t handle and if you choose Ed’s you’ll be up and running in just three days. We also help out with ongoing maintenance, so contacting us would actually prevent the need for some repairs as ongoing maintenance will keep your mower going longer.

Besides servicing mowers we will fix your mower if it has a no-start problem if the blades won’t turn, the engine starts intermittently, flywheel problem, starter problems, some oil leaks, why it doesn’t cut even, steering problems on Riders. Why does the mower only run for 10 seconds? Why won’t it restart after it’s warmed up? Why does the ethanol blended gasoline melt all of the rubber parts in the fuel system? Ethanol blend gasoline dissolves all viton rubber. Lawn mower manufacturers have used viton rubber for the needle, the fuel lines and all the gaskets in the carburetor. Ethanol blended gas will also absorb water directly from the atmosphere and hold it in the fuel. Ethanol blended gas or fuel is especially hard on small engine carburetors. We recommend that only non-ethanol or 100% gasoline be used in any lawn mowers or lawn equipment for this reason. Why does the spark plug keep fouling out?

What I found in the past, is too much oil in the crankcase or, the rings are wearing out. Why the front wheels won’t pull or turn? That’s probably the drive gears in the mower. Why the Rope won’t engage. The engagement key inside is not engaging. Why does the engine rpm go up and down all the time? Most generally that is needing carburetor work. Why does a mower shake after you start it? Most of the time that’s a bent crankshaft, and most likely the result of hitting something with the blade, causing it to bend. It could be very dangerous to operate or mow in this condition, because it could break off and come out from under the mower, and potentially hit the feet or legs of the operator. Not a risk you would want to take, Unfortunately there is no fix for this Problem.
